Lunch with Daddy

Adam, Colton and I went to O'Charley's for lunch today.  Colton was of course an angel.  He started off in the high chair like a big boy, and than he got tired so I picked him up and held him.  Before I knew it baby was asleep and we had our food, perfect timing :-)

My food good, I had the California Chicken Salad, but poor Adam's steak was very fatty, and he got it medium but it was very tough and looked burned on the outside.  He should have sent it back, but of course he wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble.  ((and the rolls were excellent as always))

I am getting so old

My friends, Sara and Josh who moved to Texas about 2 years ago are visiting. We had a fun day with the boys (they have a 1 year old). It is interesting to see Colton's reaction. He loves Chase. Chase was very facinated with Colton, patting his head, "sharing" his toys, it was just the cutest thing. Chase was (I think) giving Colton kisses, although I was kind of worried that he was actually going to bite him LOL. Than we thought Chase was giving Colton kisses, and he was actually licking the sweet potatos off Colton's face. OMG that was funny!
Later in the evening (after Zumba) I went over Sara's Mom's House and played games with her family. I had a great time. Scrabble is always fun with two babies that keep waking up ;-) While I was getting Colton packed up, we were talking about how just a few years ago at that time of night we would just be starting to have fun, but tonight we were all so tired, I know I just couldn't wait to get home and go to bed. Funny how things change after just a few years.

I love my Husband

Here is a little bit about my lovely hubby. Right now he is a full time student at YSU, and has a temporary intership at Easter Seals. He loves being a daddy (or at least I think he does). He is a HUGE sports fan- Cavs, Browns, or Indians- he loves them all! He is always suprising me, like for Christmas he got me a nice pair of Ugg boots. He said they were from Colton, but I know he bought them (how is a 5 month old going to get to the mall). --and let me add that we were not supposed to do Christmas gifts this year, we wanted to focus on Colton.

A little bit About Colton

Colton is 5 1/2 months old. He can roll from Tummy to back, basically because he hates laying on his tummy he will roll so he can be on his back. He sits up pretty well now, what a big boy he is! Speaking of being "big" he is probably almost 20 lbs now, and last time he was at the Pediatrican's he was in the 94% in weight for his age. HE LOVES TO EAT... He would nurse anytime I let him. He has started solids too. So far he eats: Oatmal with banannas, rice cereal with mixed fruit, Pears, applesauce, sweet potatos, peas (doesn't like these), squash, and peaches. Next week we are starting green beans :-)

Wow I actually have a blog

Well let me tell you a little bit about myself :-)
I have 2 great men in my life. I am a new (and young) mom of the SWEETEST baby boy, Colton Scott. And the wife of a wonderful husband, Adam- who LOVES being Colton's Daddy. I am enjoying motherhood A LOT and wouldn't change a single thing.

Right now I stay at home with Colton and babysit occassionally. Since I don't work I have to do everything I can to save money. I LOVE to find good deals and I use coupons on everything I can. I will post if I find an amazing deal :-) I hope I can help others find ways to save money too.
This Blog is going to be a combo about my life as a mommy and info about couponing.
Enjoy :-)

I spend my free time on thebump (hello fellow bumpies), scrapbooking, cleaning, couponing, and spending extra time with my Family. (and I guess now updating my blog)
